FINANCIAL ANALYST

Accountant Jobs Description

Responsibilities:

·         Perform month end closing activities related to accounts payable to

·         ensure timely closing, including adequate accruals related to invoices

·         in transit.

·         Perform monthly reconciliation of accrual or suspense accounts for

·         proper accounting treatment in accordance with US GAAP.

·         Partner with Supplier Accounts Solutions Specialists to resolve blocked

·         accounts payable invoices in accordance with US GAAP and local

·         accounting regulations.

·         Prepare monthly reporting for performance metrics for the accounts

·         payable team or relating to supplier risk analysis.

·         Prepare monthly cost allocation calculations to support intercompany

·         charges for services provided to operating locations.

·         Perform reconciliations to supplier statements on monthly or quarterly

·         basis.

·         Ad hoc tasks as required by Team Lead or Manager.

·         Participate in root cause analysis or other process improvement projects

·         or exercises to improve the efficiency of the overall process or team.

Accountant Jobs Description

·         Requirements:

        Candidate must possess at least a Diploma,

·         Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate

·         Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or

·         equivalent.

·         Possess 2-3 years experience in accounting task, preferably in accounts

·         payable or general accounting role.

·         Exposure in Share Service Organisation is added advantage.

·         Proficient with accounting software (preferably SAP, Oracle or other ERP).

·         Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel application; knowledge of macros,

·         pivot tables and V-lookups an advantage.

·         Fluent in verbal and written English; fluency in Bahasa or Mandarin a plus

·         Good team player

·         May be required to work 11 AM to 8 PM shift to support European operations
