INTERCOMPANY ANALYST

(Penang - Bayan Lepas)

Accountant Jobs Description

Responsibilities:

·         Provide Intercompany transaction processing support in accordance

·         with established processes, work procedures, SOX requirements and

·         local company legal and statutory requirements.

·         Perform monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts receivable

·         and payable balances.

·         Identify and track non-matching transactions between Jabil

·         operating locations using system reports and reconciliation tools.

·         Partner with Intercompany accountants in operating locations and

·         Intercompany Accounts Solutions Specialists to resolve

·         non-matching documents in accordance with US GAAP and local

·         accounting regulations.

·         Assist with the collection of documentation to support disputed

·         charges or balances.

·         Prepare monthly reporting to communicate status of

·         reconciliations, progress on issues resolution or other

·         performance based metrics for intercompany processes.

·         Ad hoc tasks as required by Team Lead or Manager.

·         Participate in root cause analysis or other process improvement

·         projects or exercises to improve the efficiency of the overall

·         process or team.

Accountant Jobs Description

Requirements:

·         Candidate must possess at least a Diploma,

·         Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate

·         Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or

·         equivalent.

·         Possess 2-3 years experience in accounting task, preferably in

·         intercompany transactional accounting or accounts payable.

·         Exposure in Share Service Organisation is added advantage.

·         Proficient with accounting software (preferably SAP, Oracle or

·         other ERP).

·         Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel application; knowledge of

·         macros, pivot tables and V-lookups an advantage.

·         Fluent in verbal and written English; fluency in Bahasa or

·         Mandarin a plus

·         Good team player

·         May be required to work 11 AM to 8 PM shift to support European

·         operations
